Everlane: A Sustainable Fashion Brand Worth Supporting

Hey there fashion lovers!

Are you aware of the negative impact of fast fashion on our environment and society?

Well, sustainable fashion brands are gaining popularity, and I am super passionate about supporting them.

This week I had the opportunity to talk to the PR department of Everlane and and I can't wait to tell you all about it!

First off let me tell you the Everlane PR department’s responsiveness was impeccable and the team super collaborative. They gave me access to superlative collection pics. But let’s get to business.

Everlane is pioneering a new wave of fashion, made with lower-impact materials, safer chemistry, and as little waste as possible. They said to me: “We alone cannot fix the planet, but we can leave the industry cleaner than we found it. We guide our environmental and social efforts around three pillars: Keep Earth Cool, Keep Earth Clean, and Do Right By People. So far, we have committed to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, are 90% virgin plastic-free throughout the supply chain, are increasing the use of recycled and next-gen materials, and working with factory partners to ensure the highest standard in social compliance.”

And also “Excited to share that earlier this month, Everlane launched the second volume of their Everlane Editions capsule, Dressed up Daywear, a series of curated collections featuring tailored classics that are made to last, using responsibly sourced and lower impact materials.”

“Everlane Editions: Dressed up Daywear is the first capsule collection designed by Creative Director, Mathilde Mader, presenting sustainable, versatile daywear inspired by American fashion. Comprised of materials like Tencel, organic cotton and sleek viscose, a sustainable and luxurious new fabrication for Everlane, each piece is designed with Mathilde’s approach to how modern women curate their wardrobe. This is a capsule for those who want durable, timeless pieces that are easy to wear, style, and even easier to take care of.”
